Not up to par with other used “mint” suppliers, August 27, 2009

I’ve bought a *lot* of used balls off eBay over the years, and these simply aren’t up to the standard set by eBay suppliers like LostGolfBalls and others (virtually anyone with a 99.5+% positive rating has been the same in my experience).

Roughly a third of the 36 “mint” balls I bought here are either slightly yellowed, have a small scuff or two, or other such imperfections, and in every “mint” shipment I’ve ever bought off eBay, if there were 2 such balls in a batch of 36, it was an anomaly. It certainly won’t affect the play of the ball, but these would rank as “AAA”/”Near Mint” rather than “AAAA”/”Mint” as advertised.

Make your purchasing decisions accordingly.

Great price for Titleist NXT, October 4, 2010

If you don’t mind playing with balls with logos on them, this is a great deal. The logos don’t bother me and I prefer them, since it appears that these are the ones that are practically new. Beats paying the high dollar for the Titleist NXT, which is the ball that seems to offer great control

B or C grade balls, October 8, 2011

These balls are really not in great shape. Scuffs, marker spots, marks, logos, etc. They should give you some idea of their condition, not show a picture of perfect balls. They’re still usable, but some clearly have been under water. They look like they were found on a course, put through the ball wash and then sent out. They’re cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for, but just barely.

Great Bargain!, April 27, 2010

I purchased these Recycled E6 balls curious to know what condition these balls were in for the price I paid. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and good condition they were in. Some of them were older balls but in good condition. I really like playing with them when I play courses that I may lose many balls in a round. I use the Bridgestone RX as well and the e6 will give the same spin on the greens and the same distance on my drives. I will purchase it again when I run out of the original set.

Practically like new, at a recycled price, November 27, 2009

In the 14 years I have been playing golf, this was the first time I had purchased “recycled” golf balls online. I was expecting to open the package and see a bunch of scuffed golf balls, but was pleasantly surprised to find none. Most of the balls looked brand new, while maybe 3 or 4 of them had slight wearing on the ink in the logo.

Considering the quality and quanitity for the price, I may never buy new again.

Good price for good balls, May 6, 2010

Another good deal on balls. They play great, just as good as the new ones. And when you have that occasional spray off into the woods, it hurts alot less when you can’t find it.

Can’t beat for the money, November 5, 2007

These balls have a soft feel with good control and spin, without sacrificing distance. For the price, I haven’t found anything that compares and find their performance comparable to and even better than many much more expensive balls.

My purchase of Intech golf balls has improved by 10-12 yards my driving distance as it is a low compression ball. My age is high 60′s and my putting has not diminished with this ball (Limbo). My handicap has improved by 2 strokes and I believe will continue to improve. I am now hitting regularly in the 80′s.

I recommend this ball to anyone with a handicap 15 or higher.

these are a nice inexpensive golf ball that fly’s well off a driver or iron but with limited spin around the green….I use these for courses that are new to me or that have long cuts where its hard to find the ball (jungle grass)…they are easy to follow with the bright green…cheap @ around 10 bucks…they play about 2 rounds before serious marring…

Since I lose half a dozen each time I play, these balls do well for the price. At a novice level, there are so many areas that you can improve your game in before a more expensive ball maters.

Great bag of balls!, August 29, 2011

I was a little concerned initially when I ordered these. All my worries were to put to rest as I got them. The balls are in really good condition and all but one or two are bright white. I would definitely order these again.

Hi, I bought these golf balls for my husband. He’s a casual golfer and i found these balls to be economical and in a good condition. He too shared my opinion on the quality and price. I would recommend these golf balls as I’ve come to realize that they are easily lost on the course, so why buy the expensive ones lol.

I bought these balls bc I average between 110-120 per round…lets just say i loose a few and didnt wanna spend a fortune on decent golf balls. Id say about 60-70 percent were shinny and the others somewhat faded but still usable. Overall im very happy with my purchase…

Product is returned, August 8, 2011

I returned this product, as it was not what its title says “Intech SOLID Practice balls”. They are not solid, they are hollow. Its too light, for my liking, as a practice ball. And based on the quality of the ball, I suspect it will be dented easily, like a ping pong ball. I returned the product and bought the yellow solid foam practice balls instead.

Great lightweight, hollow, plastic, golf balls, July 8, 2010

For his 2nd birthday, my son received a plastic golf club set that came with 3 balls. He loves them and carries them with him everywhere! It took about a month to lose the 3 balls and he was so distraught I was thrilled to find a cheap replacement! These 12 balls are hollow plastic, they do not pose a choking hazard to my son (he has tried putting them in his mouth)

My toddler hits them around the house with no danger of breaking the tv or vases. They do dent if you step on them but that goes with being so lightweight.

Good Value On Used Callaway Balls But …, September 17, 2007

The golf balls arrived in a plastic egg-like carton. They were all in excellent condition. However, on closer inspection, 4 of the 36 balls were a different Callaway model than HX Hot. They included 4 CX3 Hot models, which are a much cheaper (and under-performing) model which can be purchased new at discount stores such as WalMart very imexpensively. So all in all, it’s still a great buy, but be aware that you may not receive a full count of the balls you expected to receive.

At a buck a ball, it’s ok to lose a few!, September 24, 2007

The other review on these recycled golf balls are dead on. The majority of the balls are in very good shape, a few with odd advertising logos, like Cadillac and some radio station, but still in good condition.

The drawback, however, is that I too, had about 5 non HX Hot golf balls in the package.

Hard to imagine it’s by mistake.

So imagine you’re getting about 31 slightly used, still expensive, HX Hot golf balls, and 5 less expensive Callaway golf balls.

In short, I bought these golf balls simply to see if I like them. And at a buck a ball, I won’t worry too much if they stray off the fairway too much. Being the elitist, yet poor-playing golfer that I am; I enjoy hitting a fairly pricey golf ball, but there’s little sense in buying these “high performers” brand new. If they were brand new, they would still fine there way in the sand, forest, and the water. In hindsight, I should probably get a discount on recycled golf balls…it’s the new balls that I always…

Meets Expectations, October 12, 2010

This is the second time I’ve purchased the Callaway HX Hot Recycled Balls and am satisfied with both the product and delivery. All the balls received were HX Hot’s and not a different Callaway brand as described in other reviews. A few had scuffing and marking which is to be expected with one to two rounds of play on them. These play just as good on the course, and for a better price. Excellent for a beginner or on a tight course where losing balls is a possiblity.

I recently bought this pack and tried them right away. These responded great on the course, even on rough I still could get good lift AND spin. On the greens they’re pretty firm. Though from the tee these don’t have the same feel as Titleists PRO V1 or Callaways HX’s. Because of their price, I guess it’s a psychological thing knowing no matter how you hit the ball, if it is lost you don’t lose that much. It’s conforting to know that. I guess this helps hit the ball more confidently. I would definitely recommend these.

Golf balls, May 9, 2007

I am not a good golfer, but these balls are very reasonably priced and seem to go the same distance as other balls. They are easy to spot on the fairway as my ball due to the red writing on them. Great value.

Also Consumer’s Reports did an analysis and said that all golf balls go the same distance regardless of their price.

Best Kept Secret in Golf, July 24, 2007

I found an Intech Beta Ti golf ball during a round I was playing a couple of years ago and decided to try it off the next tee. It was my longest drive of the day and I’ve been playing this ball ever since. I have a 14 handicap but don’t really notice any appreciable difference in the performance of this ball vs. the much more expensive “premium” balls like Titleist, Nike or Callaway. Try ‘em, you’ll like ‘em.

Update February 2009: I’m still using this ball and continue to believe it’s the best bargain in golf. Yes, they are softer and less durable than other balls but at the price they can’t be beat. I’ve used other balls including Titleist, Callaway and Nike and can’t really see much difference in performance. I’m a 15-handicap golfer but I’ve let my low handicap buddies try this ball and they are amazed by its distance, accuracy and trajectory. Like I said 2 years ago, “Try ‘em, you’ll like ‘em.”

I bought these (and some pink Volvik Crystals) from the PGA Superstore when I received a gift card at a recent outing. I am an occasional golfer and couldn’t justify buying Callaway Warbirds or anything like that. These make the game a little more fun, who can’t help but chuckle looking at Spongebob’s goofy face on a bright yellow ball. They conform with USGA rules and are especially nice when playing in the fall in Michigan because of the leaves on the ground. I am 30 and not ashamed to play Wilson’s Spongebob golf balls.
