Good shirt, April 3, 2011

This is a pretty good shirt so far! It hasn’t shrunk or anything weird, and the design on it looks pretty cool. I’ve been asked where I’ve gotten it, but I hate to see people wearing the same clothes as me so I’ve been pretty tight lipped. (sorry folks). But I figured if I was being a d#ck in real life I’d write a review online to make up for it. I’m 6-1, and weigh about 190 and I got a large, which is what I usually get, and not to sound vain or anything but I look great in it.

The shirt is of nice enough quality but you don’t get to see the hand-sized “rugby imports” logo that is on the backside of it.

I recently received this shirt and I was disappointed that the printing was too low on the front of the shirt. Rather than being at chest / belly level, it was pretty much right on my stomach. It looks a little silly.

Good quality., June 27, 2011

I bought this item as a birthday gift for my nephew. He is a huge All Blacks fan and I knew he just had to have it. The fabric is of a good, strong quality and the print is just fantastic. It should be able to handle the rough and tumble of a rugby practice.

It’s a shirt with USA on it, it’s a good shirt, pretty resilient, and doesn’t shrink in the wash. That’s all you need right? Therefore, a perfect shirt.

My son loves it! That’s good enough for me…, May 25, 2011

I bought this soccer shirt as an extra gift for my son’s birthday because most of his are bright colors or plain white. I thought the black would add variety to his wardrobe.

He’s been a soccer nut since high school and, though he’s in his forties, he still plays all around the Bay Area. He generally prefers name brands but I liked the simplicity of this shirt, so took a chance that he’d like it… I also liked the national pride message and that it’s made of washable cotton; that should be comfortable.

And YAY… he likes it, so I’m pleased with my purchase.

Misleading picture- shirt has corporate logo on sleeve, June 30, 2011

This shirt came with a rather large and ugly corporate logo on the right sleeve that does not appear in the picture of the product here on Amazon. The logo is for the retailer, “rugby imports”, and is approximately 3 inches tall by 3 inches wide. In other words it is very prominent on the sleeve.

It is a pet peeve of mine that I will not buy clothing with company names splashed across them. It makes me feel like a walking billboard and feel like I should be getting paid to advertise, not paying them. If you’re the type who drives around with the dealer license plate frame on your car maybe you won’t mind this. But for myself I would not have ordered the shirt if the picture of the product was accurate.

On the plus side, I didn’t think the shirt was flimsy like another reviewer said.

The shipping was good and the shirt is good quality. It fits nicely. My one complaint is that after I washed it the first time I still had dye rub off on my skin while wearing it so I had to wash it by hand for 30 minutes and still had grey dye all over the place. Overall I like the product but hate that I had to deal with the dye issue.
